All about experiments that other people have done and not enough on the way people actually think and how this shapes their actions... Room for improvement.

Difficult but interesting!

Anonymous, Semester 2, 2017

A well-coordinated subject, the lectures can be a little difficult, but is worth getting to grips with.

Anonymous, Semester 2, 2018

This subject is well coordinated. Personally, i wasn't a fan but thats because i'm not even a psychology major. if you don't have an interest in cognitive psychology THEN DON'T TAKE IT. because its quite dry. The lab report is challenging.

Anonymous, Semester 2, 2017

Perhaps the most challenging of the second year psychology subjects but definitely one of the most rewarding! A good introduction to some very powerful concepts in cognitive psychology. This subject is very well coordinated and the lecturers/tutors are engaging.

I loved this subject. It look me a while to get into it at first (urghhhh attention) but if you are willing to persevere with the topics then you will end up thoroughly enjoying the content as you learn more. Particularly enjoyed Meredith's language component at the end of semester as I have a background in languages.

Anonymous, Semester 2, 2015

I found the content really interesting - some content was a bit dry but the lecturers made it enjoyable. It was also very well-coordinated and the multiple choice exam was really well-written and not ambiguous.

Fantastic subject. Extremely well coordinated, interesting content and the lecturers are all great.

Anonymous, Semester 2, 2016

Enjoyable lectures and interesting content! The assignment topic was a bit difficult to get my head around, but overall a really great subject!

Anonymous, Semester 2, 2016

Not always the most engaging subject, but easy enough to follow and gives a great insight into the human brain
