Pretty easy H1, keep up with the work, get help when you need it, that's honestly all you need to do to get a high mark in Calculus. I skipped calc 1, went straight from specialist, some bits are pretty similar, in general pretty easy. The part I struggled with the most was limits, as long as u follow the steps they give you, you will be fine. I didn't attend any of the tutorials, I did the worksheets myself, which was honestly good enough.

A nice extension from high school with second-order ODEs, hyperbolic functions, and functions of 2 variables. Lectures were easy to follow and it's a big subject so you can always find help. Only negative to the subject is the lack of rigour and its "fill in the blanks' style. I think there is an advanced course next year with more emphasis on proof and rigour.

It's calculus. It's hard. My maths honestly improved from this subject alone though there's a lot of content and a lot of questions to do so it does take time. Assignments can be pretty hard, mostly because during semester you might be focused on other things. Overall it's a good subject. If you only need to get 25 points worth of maths credit, I'd choose Linear over this provided you've done Calculus 1.

Although quite a difficult subject that requires quite a bit of work, Calculus 2 is incredibly interesting! It definitely sets you up for any further subjects in Maths, Engineering, and more!

I really enjoyed this subject, and it has been very useful for later subjects in maths, physics and chemistry. It was well taught and explained, and the number of example questions given in the tutorials was more than I dreamed for. The end stuff on differential equations was a bit hard, but you'll be fine if you attend every lecture and revise regularly. (P.S. I took this subject in semester 2, 2012, but that doesn't appear in the drop-down menu, so I'll select semester 1, 2017, which is the oldest option available.)

Calculus 2 was a very fun subject to do! Even though I ended up getting an H2A, it was still pretty interesting as I could easily relate the content being taught to real life. The subject was very well coordinated with amazing lecturers for the numerous streams. Keep up with the tutorial sheets and problem booklet, and an H1 should be waiting for you at the end!

I loved this subject and how intuitive the Practical classes were in helping me to understand the content.

Anonymous, Semester 1, 2019

practice enough and you'll have an H1 in your bag. super fun subject, loved the lecturer.

Do the problem booket, do the assignments, don't get behind. Do the practice exams. There's a lot of work, but the exam does follow a pattern.

A great extension to Calculus 1. Consistent effort throughout the course will definitely help you ace it. I understand that it's a science subject, and so application in the natural sciences is sensible, but I kinda wished they had touched a bit of commerce too. But overall, an interesting subject!
