Description

The student newspaper of the University of New England is called The Nucleus. The Nucleus follows in the footsteps of its predecessor, the 'Neucleus', first printed in 1947 and one of the oldest university student newspapers in Australia. Those students on campus can also drop into the Nucleus office, located in the Union Arcade, to say hello and pick up a copy. The newspaper sits at the heart of the creation and dissemination of student media at UNE and aims to create and foster a voice and a collective space for university thought, discussion and dialogue. Articles will cover news and pieces of interest relevant to students and UNE. The paper will also publicise student activity, providing coverage and a promotion space for clubs, societies and student action at UNE. The editors welcome all feedback, contributions and suggestions, they can be contact via email at: editors@nucleus.org.au
