UQ Science Tutor Mikayla

Hi! I’m a graduate of a Bachelor of Wildlife Science and a Masters in Molecular Biology. I offer online and St lucia/Brisbane tutoring for chemistry, biology, genetics and zoology. I am currently tutoring AGRC2001 and ANIM2057. I currently work as an RA at Microba. My focus is on animal biology and molecular biology, and I can take a look at relevant courses not listed to see if I can help. I have tutored privately and for the university before (CHEM1004 PASS and ANIM2053 GRASP). I'm patient and I explain things in a simple way people can understand. I like to learn through making steps and connections, and that tends to be helpful for other science students, but we can try different approaches to find one that helps you. I’m compassionate and patient, and I understand the effect of mental illness and learning disabilities on study and I am happy to accommodate however I can (though I am NOT saying that I am trained in disability learning).
