USYD Science Tutor Angus

I’m a current University of Sydney medical student with a Bachelor of Medical Science from ANU, where I studied neuroscience and physiology. I tutor biology, anatomy and physiology, with a particular focus on helping students understand difficult concepts rather than simply memorising facts. My teaching style is based on first principles and the Feynman technique. I’ll break complex topics into simple explanations, then use questions, clinical examples and practice problems to make sure you can apply what you’ve learned. Lessons are tailored to your goals, whether you’re preparing for an exam, struggling with a particular topic, or looking to improve your overall study approach. I also share the study techniques that have helped me through both undergraduate science and medical school. I aim to keep sessions relaxed and interactive, so you’ll be encouraged to ask questions and explain concepts back to me as we work through them.
