Hi! My name is Xavier and I’m a Mathematics graduate from the University of Queensland, currently studying an M.Sc. in Mathematics. I have over 5 years of tutoring experience, including tutoring university-level mathematics.
I focus on helping students understand the underlying ideas, rather than simply memorising techniques. My teaching style is patient and adaptable: I’ll work through problems with you step-by-step, explain difficult concepts in different ways, and help you develop the skills to tackle problems independently.
I can help with university mathematics courses including calculus, linear algebra, analysis, differential equations, complex analysis, and geometry, as well as exam preparation, assignments, and general problem-solving.
All tutoring is conducted online via Zoom.
