UTS IT Tutor Parisa

I'm a Master of Data Science and Innovation student at UTS, graduating soon. My background spans data science, data engineering, machine learning, LLMs/RAG systems, and full-stack development. I focus on breaking complex technical concepts down into plain-language explanations with real examples, not just formulas. I like using interactive tools like quizzes, live coding, and visual walkthroughs to keep sessions engaging rather than passive lectures. I also bring a peer perspective: I currently work as a U:PASS leader at UTS running peer-led study sessions for Machine Learning Algorithms and Applications and Data Science Practice, so I'm used to explaining things the way students actually get stuck on them, not just how a textbook presents them. I can help with machine learning concepts (classification, regression, regularization, model evaluation,…), data science fundamentals and data quality/data types, SQL and database concepts, Python programming, and exam or assignment prep, working through past questions and building intuition step by step. I tutor on campus at UTS. Rates are $25/hour for individual sessions and $30/hour for groups of 2 or more.
