Hi, I'm Monica. I graduated with a Master of Clinical Psychology in 2024, Honours in 2022 (WAM 96), and Graduate Diploma of Psychology in 2021 (WAM 98), all at UNSW. I am currently a registered psychologist and clinical psychology registrar. I am also a lawyer (non-practising) and previously graduated from a Commerce/Law degree at UNSW. I have been mentoring undergraduate psychology students for a number of years. I can help with: - Advice on making a career change and help with working out if psychology is for you. - Understanding different career pathways within psychology, e.g., day-to-day life and professional expectations, and/or how this may differ from other similar helping roles and professions (e.g., counselling, social work, psychiatry). - Information and advice on the educational pathway, and practical advice on how to prepare for each stage (e.g., experience, marks, interviews, other tips). - Interview practice for Masters and graduate positions, and understanding what is important for applications. - Reviewing CVs. - Learning the psychology scientific writing style used in reports and theses.
