UNSW Engineering Tutor Amir

I found Amir as my tutor for COMP2521 and found the sessions really helpful, especially when it came to problem solving. Instead of just showing me the answer, he helped me understand the thinking process behind each question and how to break harder problems into smaller steps. That made a big difference because I started feeling much more confident approaching questions on my own. He was always patient when I got stuck and adjusted the lessons based on what I needed the most help with. I definitely got a lot more out of the course after working with him.

Amir tutored me for comp2521 and he's genuinely so helpful. He's patient and tailors every lesson to your specific weaknesses. He explained concepts to me really well and broke them down so I could understand. I am much more confident with the content and he put a lot of effort into solving programming problems.

Amir tutored me for comp2521 and he explains concepts so well. I struggled with solving programming problems and he helped me understand them really well. He worked through examples with me and I understood how to solve problems better in a few lesson than weeks of my own study. Amir tutored me for COMP1521 and I reached out to him again for COMP2521 because I found his teaching really helpful. I struggled with topics like MIPS, memory, recursion, trees and graphs, but he explained everything clearly and broke difficult concepts down step by step. He’s patient, thorough, and really focuses on making sure you actually understand the content.
