I have a Applied mathematics and Statistics degree (Master's degree) at Stony Brook University. My undergrad GPA is 3.73/4.0 (Americans use different schemes). I have graduated 6 years (Bachelor + Master's) in 4 years. I actually wanted to graduate earlier, but the system sort of didn't allow it. I have TA or tutored discrete matheamtics, operations research (linear programming), probability theory and linear algebra. I have around 2 years of experience of research in graph theory and SMT solver. My teaching style is 'Control.' When someone knows more, you can go way beyond what the course requires and tutees probably get lost. I will focus on course materials, but we can also discuss some further materials through email. I don't mind sending me email anytime. I honestly spent tons of time alone trying to make sense out of some course materials when I was in undergrad.. and I went even further, but I don't expect you to do it. I believe in this quote. “Young man, in mathematics you do not understand things. You just get used to them.” - John Von Neumann We practice mathematics using concepts like gradient, partial derivative, numbers (do numbers exist..?), etc, but we barely understand how things work inside, but I investigated those on my own. Like.. Godel, Frege, Russell, but I can definitely control myself to courses only. In short, I can make you get HD. The degree that I am pursuing right now in ANU is Master's in mathematics (advanced). I take courses in math and physics. I will pursue studying especially algebraic geometry and particle physics. I can tutor any first year, second year statistics, mathematics, or physics, computer science (I learned JAVA, C, C++, Phython) courses. I live at Burton and Garran Hall at ANU. I prefer in-person tutoring at a library or cafe (around ANU campus because I don't know many places here), but I can also tutor through online platforms using my IPad. I prefer 1:1 tutoring, and I generally do not do this job for money. I want to get some experience in teaching, and I love solving math problems on my own. I speak Korean, English, and French fluently (but of course I learned others), so we can communicate in these languages, if you want. I am very friendly, so I personally don't mind if you ask for further career guide regarding pure maths, theoretical physics, rocket science, and AI fields.
