I help university students develop strong academic essays and research papers. Many students understand their subject but struggle to organize their ideas into a clear argument. That's where I come in. I work with students to: • develop strong thesis statements; • structure essays effectively; • find and evaluate scholarly sources; • edit papers; • improve clarity and academic style; and • correct referencing and citations. I will review assignment requirements, guide you in developing your paper, and provide detailed and comprehensive research on your drafts. I am currently completing a Master of Teaching at the University of Queensland. Before then I worked for the US Federal Government developing and leading an anti-fraud task force. Additionally, I spent years teaching American, Western, World, and African history at the undergraduate level. I have a Bachelors Degree in Film and a Masters of Arts in History. Further, I studied for my PhD at the University of Manchester. Lessons available online or near UQ St Lucia.
