MATHS HONOURS STUDENT || HD AVERAGE || ANU DEMONSTRATOR || FREE TRIAL CONSULTATION I am completing my final year of an honours degree in mathematics (Bachelor of Mathematical Sciences (Hons)) at ANU. I have an 82 WAM across MATH coded courses and a 6.35 GPA overall. I was a demonstrator for MATH1003 and have over two years of experience tutoring maths and physics for year 11/12 students. I prioritise a 'keep it simple' approach. I consider your current understanding of a subject and explain concepts with a focus on intuition and accessibility. Most things are less complicated then they seem when you view them in the right way. I have helped many students in the past by identifying and targeting weaknesses in their understanding of the fundamentals and explaining and practicing them in new ways. I welcome 'stupid' questions because those are the questions that lead you to a true understanding of the most difficult concepts. I can tutor all first year maths and physics subjects. I can do online lessons with my iPad and Apple Pencil or I can come to you at an additional cost if I have to drive far (I will provide a quote). I can tutor at ANU for no extra cost. I can also provide group tutoring at $60/hr for two students and then $10 extra per hour per additional student. I also offer a 30 minute free consultation session where we can talk about what your goals and what you're looking for from me.
