UWA MD CSP, MMI and Unimelb subject tutor Hi there! I'm Ava, a graduate of Unimelb Bachelor of Science (Human Structure and Function) and first year UWA Med student - receiving a first round CSP offer thanks to my rock solid MMI approach! I interviewed for UWA MD, but did extensive preparation for MMIs for both UWA and Unimelb and am currently tutoring for med entry MMIs. I'll help you gain the confidence and advice you need to feel ready to smash the final hurdle to med school and ace your interview! As someone who did what felt like endless amounts of study for my MMI whilst backpacking around Europe, I've learnt how to make interview prep extremely high yield - making you feel as prepared as possible without wasting time. Not only do I have effective techniques to answer each question type, I also have a HUGE collation of resources for you to use and practice with in your own time (including rural, public and indigenous health notes and >200 practice questions)... I really love to personalise my sessions and collaborate with individual students on what their unique areas of improvement might be, and try to get students to take away as much as possible to feel more and more confident in their own abilities. I know that applying to med school can be incredibly stressful and exhausting, and I'm here to help you in all the ways I wish I was helped throughout my own journey.
