UniMelb Health Tutor Archie

Archie is truely brilliant not only in his ability to reason and problem solve, but also in his capacity to communicate that in a way that makes you truely understand. Through Archie's teachings I have experienced many moments where I felt "oh my goodness that makes so much sense!". His mentorship and guidance has made the intimidating section 3 of the GAMSAT feel 10x more approachable. Not only has he inspired confidence in me through his teaching, but he has genuinely improved my problem solving capabilities. With every question, Archie provides clear and logical steps to help me reach the answer for myself. He is extremely patient, understanding and never makes you feel like you're incapable. If you're contemplating whether it is worth choosing Archie as a tutor for GAMSAT S3, my advice is to DO IT! I've never regretted paying for my sessions with Archie, he has been a cornerstone in my journey to excel in the GAMSAT and to succeed in my medicine journey. Without him, I think I would still be endlessly stressing over the GAMSAT today.

Archie is an exceptional GAMSAT tutor. He has vast background knowledge of physics, chemistry and biology concepts, as well as impressive reasoning abilities that enabled him to instantly comprehend the section 3 practice questions I presented him with. He was able to communicate complex information in a way that was understandable for me, as someone with a limited science background. His teaching method was also very interactive - he didn't simply give me all the information in one go - he frequently checked for understanding, and when appropriate, gave me opportunities to demonstrate the knowledge I had gained, creating valuable learning experiences. After only one month of regular sessions with Archie, I sat the March 2026 GAMSAT and saw a six point improvement in my section 3 score since my last sitting. I am confident I now have a high enough GAMSAT score to secure an interview this year, and I couldn't have done it without Archie's help. I strongly recommend him!
