Hi, I'm Yusuf, a third-year Doctor of Medicine student at the University of Melbourne. I have a proven track record of success in MMI interviews. I received a first-round, first-preference CSP offer for medicine at UoM and a separate first-round, first-preference CSP offer for dentistry at UWA. My experience isn't just personal. For the past three years, I've run free interview workshops, helping 23 students get into the University of Melbourne's medicine program last year alone. So why choose me? Yusuf was super helpful and patient, you will definitely gain valuable interview skills from his classes. He provided different strategies for different stations. Besides frameworks, he will also work with you to come up with a personalised response template, which i believe is wayy better than just reading off a script. Yusuf's tutoring style is great for the MMIs, where he provides feedback on both the positives and negative aspects in your responses. He emphasizes exactly what interview questions are looking for (characteristics, red flags, green flags), and teaches this by reframing your thinking such that your responses are much stronger. This is different to other tutors who just provide you a model answer then move on, Yusuf's feedback is very actionable, rather than passive. He's been a great tutor for me, and I highly recommend him to anyone who wants to improve their MMI/interviewing skills.
