UNSW Engineering Tutor Amirul

Hi, I'm Amirul! I'm a 3rd Year studying Advanced Computer Science at UNSW. I have HD'd the courses I'm offering (If this matters). I do high school mathematics tutoring (volunteer) in my free time (HSC math so far) and have a year of experience in private one-to-one tutoring/teaching university students in computer science courses. I'm happy to see when people I tutor meet their goals. I will try to accommodate my clients' requests as long as it does not result in academic misconduct. Disclaimer: For help with course assessments, I'm only offering to discuss problems on a high level, i.e. understanding the problem and its requirements, and guiding you to the correct idea. Location: Usually, I would be tutoring in public spaces such as libraries (If you require me to book UNSW spaces, please let me know a week in advance, since booking fills up quickly). I'm open to travelling to the client's place if it's in a good proximity to me (I'm happy to accommodate further distance with compensation). A better option would be an online session where I will use my tablet for writing/drawing/explanations. Feel free to reach out to me to discuss more. Rates: 50$/h if the first session starts in the first half of the term and 60$/h otherwise (due to heavier load on 2nd half of the term). What my tutee has found helpful is my approach to understanding the root of confusion people may have and tackling it. I can tackle and explain most concepts in the courses I teach. I also take into account my clients' strengths and weaknesses and incorporate them into their learning.
