UNSW Engineering Tutor Amirul

Hi, I'm Amirul! I'm a second-year Advanced Computer Science student at UNSW. I have 89 WAM if that matters, with a 90+ average on computer science courses. I've been involved with programming since high school, which includes leading an initiative to promote programming in high school. I do high school mathematics tutoring in my free time and taught friends and strangers computer science :D, and the teaching style that I have adopted is to understand the student's strengths and weaknesses and work on those. I can help you understand your course content and fill in your knowledge gap! Of course, different people has different needs, so feel free to reach me out and I'll see what I can help. Location: Generally, I can tutor in public spaces i.e. USYD/UNSW/libraries? and online, but feel free to reach out to discuss this. Rates: Generally, the rate is $40/h per student (up to a group of 3). It isn't set in stone, reach out to see what works for both parties :) More information about me 😲 (ik) Currently, I'm involved in a student project that is an algorithm visualiser as a backend programmer. I have done several projects e.g. Discord bot, a Minecraft server-end plugin (similar to Hypixel Skyblock pet system but cooler). I also tutor math in my free time, as mentioned above. I'm passionate about computer science and mathematics, and try to step out of my comfort zone. Other UNSW courses that I have done but don't have the confidence to teach are MATH2111 (+ 1st year higher math courses), ECON1101 and COMP4141. (Feel free to ask me about it)
