Hi, My name is Kalkhi and I am a medical student at the University of Queensland. I'm currently offering tutoring services to students preparing for Australian MMIs (medical interviews). Medical interviews are your chance to show schools who you are; what makes you uniquely suitable to medicine? Educational/Professional Experiences: - Clinical researcher at the Baker Heart and Diabetes Institute and St Vincent’s Hospital, Melbourne. - Biomedicine Honours Degree with the Department of Medicine (Royal Melbourne Hospital) in 2022, completing all subjects at H1 level, including the final thesis. - Completed first year of Masters of Speech Pathology at UQ (2024) MMI (Medical Interview) Tutoring Service: - I provide tailored mock interview sessions using a myriad of MMI stems to simulate an authentic environment. These sessions are designed to help you confidently face your medical school interview and learn in a safe and non-judgmental environment. - Each session includes a written summary of your responses which can be used to reflect on after our sessions. - Each session includes station-specific and general constructive feedback. These aim to help you focus your efforts towards specific areas of improvement. - I have experience with Notre Dame and UQ MMIs. - Sample responses showcasing how I use my experiences to answer MMI questions.
