Struggling with Finance, Econ, or Maths at UniMelb? I'd love to help! I'm a Commerce (Finance, Economics) and Diploma in Pure Mathematics student at UniMelb with a WAM of 88.45. Over the past 4 years, I've tutored 65+ students across VCE Maths, Olympiad Maths, and university subjects, so I've spent a lot of time figuring out what actually works when it comes to helping students do well. My focus is on building real understanding rather than memorisation. Uni subjects are too content heavy for rote learning to work, and I've seen too many students hit a wall because of it. I keep things intuitive, use plenty of examples, and I never move on from a topic until it actually clicks. I'm also very open to feedback and happy to adapt my approach to whatever suits you best. These have given me strong quantitative skills that I actively pass on to my students, which makes a real difference in these math heavy subjects.
