<< GAMSAT S3 tutoring >> scored 100 in S3 twice with overall scores of 86 and 87 // Unimelb MD student Still accepting a limited number of S3 students for Mar 2025. About me: I have sat the GAMSAT twice. I scored 87 and 86 overall, including 100 in S3 both times. March 2016: 78/72/100 = 87 overall (~3 months prep) March 2023: 76/68/100 = 86 overall (~1 week prep) Current Melb med student, I have (twice) successfully gained entry via GEMSAS. My undergrad degree was a Bachelor of Biomedicine majoring in Immunology. For Section 3: - I use a skills-based approach: using practice questions as a basis for developing fundamental reading/reasoning skills + exam technique, revisiting/relearning basic science concepts + maths skills, and identifying weaknesses that need specific attention. - I will help you with relevant subjects up to a GAMSAT standard, i.e. maths/bio/chem/physics etc - I have a lot of experience with biology in particular; I have been a tutor/lecturer for the Australian Science Olympiads Biology program since 2016. - I will provide you a unique perspective on the test purely based on my own experiences. I have never worked for a med entry tuition company. - I am not a 'science curriculum' tutor; I believe content-heavy approaches to the GAMSAT are misguided. My aim is to help you approach S3 questions with confidence regardless of your academic background. Regarding the lessons: - I can tutor you over Zoom, or in person in Melb CBD / Uni - The rate is $90 per 1 hour session for individual tuition. This is negotiable in some circumstances. - Casual or regular help available If interested: let me know and I will send you a list of upcoming availabilities to get started. Prior to or during our first session it would be nice to get to know more about you (e.g. what your academic background is, what you'd like from a S3 tutor, whether you've sat the GAMSAT already / what you're working on, that sort of thing).
