Hello! My name is EJ, and I am a S1/S2 GAMSAT tutor. Currently, I am pursuing a degree in Medicine at the University of Sydney (USYD). I hold a Bachelor of Biomedical Science (Hons) from Monash University, where I graduated with a 6.79 GPA (7 with WAMnesty!). In the GAMSAT, I achieved excellent scores, reaching the 98th Percentile in S1 and 97th Percentile in S2. I can also provide assistance with S3, as my score in that section was 72 (~90th Percentile). With 2 years of experience as a GAMSAT and HSC English tutor, I also have an extensive background as a VCE English/Methods/Biology tutor, spanning 6 years. My tutoring expertise lies in Sections 1 and 2. I firmly believe in building a solid foundation before refining specific skills. In Section 1, I teach various approaches to tackle different types of reasoning, text types, and question formats. For Section 2, I focus on enhancing your essay structure, fluency, and ideas. I conduct my tutoring sessions primarily through Zoom, offering flexibility and convenience. However, for those in the inner west/east/CBD Sydney area (or inner south-east Melbourne between December-January), I can organise in-person lessons as well. Rates: One-on-one online tutoring: $70 per hour One-on-one in-person tutoring: $80 per hour Group sessions (online) with 2 people: $50 per person per hour Group sessions (online) with 3 or more people: $45 per person per hour I also provide Essay Marking services with personalised feedback.

Eeshan has a really unique take that I hadn’t heard from other tutors! He’s really up to date with current affairs and how to incorporate them into the essay! He’s also gives great tips on how to stay calm in the lead up to gamsat!
