USYD Health Tutor Michael

Hello! My name is Michael and I am a 2nd year medical student at USYD. I scored an unweighted 73 (95th percentile) in the March 2023 GAMSAT with a Section 2 score of 86 (99.8th percentile). This is despite coming from a non-humanities and non-English speaking background. In the March 2024 GAMSAT, two of my students received S2 scores of 78 and 80, with each improving their S2 mark by double digits! I believe that Section 2 is an important part of GAMSAT and that most applicants can score highly. Many medical schools are pivoting towards using unweighted GAMSAT to rank applicants, such as UNDA, UQ, UOM, USYD. Furthermore, section 2 specific skills carry over to other aspects of medical admissions, such as CASPER or MMI I dedicated my preparation to mastering a high-yield, simple, and mechanical approach to Section 2. My aim is to help you express YOUR authentic writing style and ideas within the confines of the psychometric properties and effective communication that ACER want you to demonstrate. I am open to doing both 1 on 1 or group sessions (self-organised)
