I'm Neisha, a recent graduate of the Bachelor of Laws / Bachelor of Arts (Politics and International Relations) degree at the Australian Catholic University (ACU), where I achieved a Grade Point Average of 6.33 on the 7.0 scale. Academic Background and Experience With years of tutoring experience across a range of legal subjects, I bring not only an in-depth understanding of law, political science, and international relations but also a passion for teaching and mentoring students. Throughout my degree I consistently received distinctions and high distinctions, and additionally was awarded Executive Dean’s Commendations for achieving a GPA of above 6.0 out of 7.0. This academic recognition highlights my commitment to excellence and strong subject mastery .In addition to these achievements, I am proud to be a member of the Golden Key International Honour Society, which invites only the top 15% of students from over 400 universities worldwide. My extensive tutoring experience includes working as a Peer Assisted Study Sessions (PASS) Leader for LAWS106 Criminal Law at ACU, where I not only led weekly study sessions but also provided invaluable support to students in content understanding, organisation, and exam preparation. I’ve helped students from various faculties, empowering them with the tools and strategies they need to succeed academically. Whether helping students build their foundational knowledge or improving their exam techniques, I tailor my approach to meet each student's individual needs. I was also recently awarded the 2024 Moonee Valley Foundation Award of Excellence for my exceptional academic performance and dedication to community work. This award recognises students who demonstrate outstanding contributions to both their academic field and the community, a value I carry into my tutoring practice. International Experience In 2023, I was honoured to be selected as a New Colombo Plan Scholar by the Australian Government Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade. This prestigious scholarship allowed me to live and study in Thailand for 12 months, where I further honed my expertise in international law and foreign policy at Thammasat University. Additionally, I undertook intensive Thai language training, enhancing my cultural understanding and ability to engage in diverse, multilingual environments, skills that are invaluable in today’s interconnected world. As part of my ongoing commitment to global education and diplomacy, I was also an participant of the 2024 United Nations Association of Australia Study Tour to Geneva. This experience provided me with a deeper understanding of international law, diplomacy, and global policy, reinforcing my belief in the importance of education in fostering global citizenship. In 2024, I also had the honour of attending the 3rd Global Peace Summit at the UN’s South-East Asia regional headquarters in Bangkok as a peace delegate with Humanitarian Affairs Asia. This experience further fuelled my passion for peace-building, conflict resolution, and international cooperation. I offer tutoring for a broad range of subjects, with a particular focus on legal studies and international relations. I also provide mentoring and professional development advice.
