Hi! I am a UQ Bachelor of Health Sciences (Public Health) graduate and current UQ Bachelor of Health Sciences (Honours) student. I am friendly, flexible with time, and an excellent communicator. I will always come to sessions prepared and can meet in person or online! I have been tutoring on StudentVIP for over 2 years and employed as a casual academic tutor at the University of Queensland, currently marking PUBH7033 Foundations in Public Health. I was awarded the Public Health Association of Australia Award (Year 3) for student with the highest GPA upon degree completion. I can help with motivation, essay and report writing, study skills, time management, organisation, and assignment feedback. I love to help students build their conceptual skills and critical thinking to understand and make sense of the complexity required for public health. James is an awesome tutor! He looked over my PUBH1102 assessments extremely thoroughly and proved to be very knowledgeable on what markers were looking for. He marked my assessments against the marking criteria and gave me suggestions on areas I could improve. He's also great at explaining difficult concepts and providing helpful resources. Furthermore, he's super easy to organise zoom sessions with and is willing to answer your questions via email/StudentVIP until all your concerns have been resolved. I'd definitely recommend him as a tutor, you won't be disappointed! :)
