Hi! I’m Lauren and I graduated from my Honours (Psychology) course in 2020. I was a tutor for the Melbourne School of Psychological Sciences in 2021 and 2022, specifically for PSYC20008 Developmental Psychology, and have an in-depth understanding of what is required of assignments across all subjects. Currently, I am working with Orygen Youth Health as a Project Manager (and previously as a Research Assistant) on an international research project looking at youth who are at risk of developing psychotic disorders. I am currently only available to proofread essays and lab reports. Please contact me for more information. Unfortunately, I am not available for private tutoring. Please note that I am also available to proofread Honours theses though I will need your draft/final copy to be sent to me at least 7 days before the due date. Please contact me for more details about thesis proofreading. I will be able to help with APA formatting, bringing clarity into your work and clearing any ambiguity that may exist. I will leave detailed comments on your work that describe how you can make it read better, as well as some recommendations on what you should or shouldn't include and why. If you have any areas of your writing that you particularly want to improve, we can talk about this and work out a style that will suit. My rates for proofreading are as follows: -$60/1000 words; max of a 4 business day turn around (differs for Honours theses) -If you require an urgent review (24 hour turnaround), I charge an extra $40 fee (this is a flat charge, NOT per 1000 words) I received a score of above 80 on all of the undergrad psychology subjects I completed. Lauren is a dedicated, friendly and wonderful tutor. The feedback she provides for proofreading is easy to understand and very thorough. She helped me improve my scientific writing skills immensely. The assignments that Lauren helped me with were all awarded H1's which I was extremely happy with. Her prices are also very reasonable and it's only a small fee for urgent proofreading which she had back to be in under 24 hours. I would recommend Lauren as a tutor to anyone studying psychology at Unimelb. :)
