0/10 most frustrating unit ive done to date. Lecturer is unnessesarily critical throughout the unit. Unit is lay out like a tafe course not a University unit and although the assessment is diverse they mark way too hard for how they present the assessment and the tuts are not even worth going to cause they never discuss the assessment just go over what was done in the lecture (you literally learn nothing). When i emailed about my last assessemnt (which was bombed, Ive never recevied such poor marks before and i thought it was a good assessment) the lecturer/unit coordinator was unessesarily hostile towards me. I want my money back.

I was a fourth year doing a first year elective, so a lot of the content was a repeat of what I've already learnt. It gives a basic overview of things you will learn more in depth over the years. It might be a bit tricky trying to apply theory you haven't learnt about before in a subject that just gives an overview about it though, so make sure you read up about them well. Also, when giving solutions/strategies for a scenario, remember the practical things such as building rapport with the client.

Didn't learn a hell of a lot, but what I did learn was interesting. Textbook was free online which is always a plus. The expected readings were a little ridiculous in size, but the staff were great
