Not a very enjoyable subject, the 3 hour lectorial is very long period of time and results in students losing lack of focus.

Loved it. My tutor/lecturer, Gavin, was amazing and always made sure that everyone understood the content. I found the course material itself very interesting and easy to follow.

The examination case study is a bit similar to weekly lecture notes, and there's one argument question requires students to write as an essay. Overall, this unit is worth for enrolling and students should take care about the assessments as they require lots of research.

Could have been better if there was a provision for printed text book (not e-book only!). Changing lecturers midway through the semester was extremely unprofessional and caused great disruption to my learning as delivery method was not up to standard previously. Ended up utilising other recorded lectures which were easier to follow and understand. Only saving grace was the final exam allowed for the use of a cheat sheet.

Really enjoyed this subject. Gavin made the content enjoyable and easy to learn, and worked through the questions in a very logical fashion. He presented a range of plausible ethical scenarios rather than abstract ones. Mid-semester exam was all multiple choice. Legal problems all related to business and he helped me develop a legal way of thinking. Learning the ILAC method was challenging at first, but make certain to learn it as it helps you narrow your discussion to only the important points. The cheat sheet for the final exam was very helpful, I wrote all the cases from the PPT and relevant sections of the law, plus definitions from the textbook. If I had made the sheet earlier in the semester it would have helped me to answer in-class questions better

This subject's awesome if you get Gavin as your lecturer. His classes are informative and fun. 3 hr class in the morning is dreadful but he honestly makes it much more better!! Mid terms' pretty easy (MCQ) just finish all the previous MCQ practices provided then you should be good to go.

too hard to understand case law? it would not be a problem cause it is fun

Having Gavin as lecturer was really enjoyable though trying to get head around ILAC was a bit hard when you aren't used to thinking in that manner.

I found this subject pretty easy. The lecturers were great as they provided a lot of extra revision material which really helped when keeping up with the content.

This subject was alight, the content had its moments were it was interesting. I thought the different case laws were cool to learn about. I had Rouhshi Low as my lecturer, and she was okay. Very quiet and sweet though, which ment people would just talk through her lectures and you couldn't hear shit. So for most of the unit I watched the Caboolture lecture recordings instead, that woman was really good at explaining the different case law. The final exam I thought was not too hard, the challenging part was getting through it within the time frame, no one left early and a lot of people were complaining they ran out of time. Also Gavin's vodcasts were a real help.
