LAWS1016: Criminal Law Exam Notes (86 HD FINAL MARK)

Description

These notes enabled me to achieve an 86 HD overall mark in this unit. They offer: - comprehensive, but simply written offences and defences that are well-organised and easy to recall under time pressure - all relevant elements, authority, scaffolds, exceptions, limbs, rules, ratio and cases for every topic in the entire unit - a golden scaffold for easy identification of defences - relevant and current law as of 2026 Albeit these notes are only 39 pages, they contain every relevant case, offence, defence and requisite unit information. This was achieved by preserving the ratio and elements of each case, in place of lengthy case facts (which I still recommend you familiarise yourself with). As always, these work best when paired with a thorough understanding of the unit, but will still work with a broad, rudimentary understanding of basic concepts. It is however, still recommended that these notes should only be used to supplement an already thorough understanding of each topic.
