Description

These notes cover all the lecture topics from PHRM30003, with some notes from the tutorials within each topic as well as some general tips for how to do well in the subject. Key knowledge from each topic is explained in easily understandable lists and tables. Most of these notes were written as a weekly summary of the subject while I was completing it. The notes are broken down into 5 main topics with subheadings based on each lecture topic: - Pharmacological Principles (pharmacodynamics/kinetics) - Immunopharmacology (mechanisms, adaptive, NSAIDs, GCs, allergies, suppression, stimulation) - Selective Toxicity (anti-infectives, antivirals, cancers, pain) - Respiratory Disease (asthma, ARDS, COPD, CF) - Cardiovascular Disease (The notes are organised in the order the subject was taught in Semester 1, 2023.) In the semester I did this subject, most people failed the first MST - I was one of the few who did not, and I also managed a H1 overall. Hopefully, that means that these notes could be helpful to you.
