Description

While other notes contain every single piece of information possible, these notes are efficient and exam-focused. They exclude unnecessary information so that you don't have to wade through mountains of text to get to the relevant information under exam conditions. The notes are ordered to make sense in an exam context. The cases have been integrated into the notes and abridged, making it easy to analogise with the relevant facts. Cases are easily colour-coded. Blue equals legal authority and purple are the facts of the case. Please note, there have been recent reforms that occurred after this unit was undertaken. These notes make reference to most of them, however, it is important to crosscheck everything with the most recent study guide. As this unit only runs every second year, these are the most up-to-date notes available. Words in BOLD are included to tell you what to do with the adjacent sentence. For example: - "Note" means keep this in mind. - "Rule" is the legal principle to be stated. - "Define" is an opening statement laying out the issues. - "Red Flag" means watch out for this scenario on the exam. - "OTF' means only apply when the issue is relevant on the facts.
