I am now practising and kept updating these notes (most recently in September 2019) while I was working in IP law. These notes are concise but cover all topics including Trade Marks, Copyright, Patents and Designs. They include real-world examples used to explain concepts, not just court cases. The Trade Mark and Patents sections are supported by a surprising amount of examples from The Simpsons.
