Description

These notes are based off the course textbook (Criminal Laws- Materials & Commentary 6th ed by Brown, Farrier, McNamara, Grewcock & Schwartz) as well as notes made by Helen in class. These are perfect to use in an exam and saved me heaps of time searching through the textbook, and were perfect for revision as well. I also went back to them during CRIM2021 so they're super helpful. They include all course content including: - Criminalisation - Process (Police powers, discretion, pre-trial process, the process as punishment and ATSI involvement) - Offence elements (Legal personhood, Actus Reus/Mens Rea) - Public Order Offences (Offensiveness) And heaps of definitions and case references.
