Description

PDF, coloured notes for the Nuclear physics component of the course. I made these notes as part of my exam preparation at the end of the semester and in doing so, greatly broadened my understanding of the concepts. I hope they do the same for you :) Topics included are NUCLEAR MODELS, NUCLEAR DECAY, MOLECULAR PHYSICS, and PARTICLE PHYSICS (see the sample notes for topics covered within these sections). The notes have been collated from my summaries of the lecture slides, internet research and the course textbook 'Quantum physics of atoms, molecules, solids, nuclei, and particles - second edition' by Robert Eisberg and Robert Resnick. They incorporate the large majority of relevant equations along with qualitative descriptions of the topics to aid further understanding. Each section displays a table of contents for the subsections within (see sample notes). The diagrams contained within are excerpts from the textbook.
