Content includes: - Introduction week - Problem with treating facts as 'self-evident' - Assessing 'good science' - Perceptions of science; skepticism & conservatism - Networking and negotiation in science - The 'war on science' - Left- and right-wing science - Climate change debate (and theorists) - Money and science - Expertise & specialisation - Role of non-experts I found that to do well in this subject required speaking to different people and having things explained in different ways and have tried to communicate much of this through my notes. Hopefully this can help someone in the future. The lecturer as well was one of my favourites throughout my degree. Missing week nine lecture/tutorial content.
