Reviews
This unit was okay as an introductory unit. The worksheets were helpful in understanding the content though they were very time consuming compared to their grade value. The content is very dry but Dianne is a good lecturer and explained certain mathematic concepts in a way that helped me understand it better than I have before. It's not essential to attend the lectures in person but definitely keep up with them online as the content moves very quickly.

Simple enough introductory stats unit. The workshops and online quizzes are constant but are great for getting a grasp on the lecture content, but the exam is weighted very heavily, 65% means there is not much room for error here.

Tutors and support given were good, but lectures dragged on. Content incredibly boring. Necessary for a science course but maybe the advanced units would be more interesting.

A good choice of a core unit for Science students who don't particularly want to pursue a Mathematics pathway or just aren't skilled in it. Also good choice for an 'easier' subject for people.

Great stats unit for science students. All the staff are really helpful, lectures are relevant and support classes cater to everyone's abilities as you are able to stay as long as you need to complete the work.

This unit was ok. Nothing special about it. It can get a bit boring sometimes. But manageable.

Very easy to get a D or HD. The lectures, textbook and tutorials were all very easy to follow and covered 95% of the unit content very well. Lecturer covered topics in detail, with lots of examples that were very similar to the exam.

Intense but good
