Definitely a WAM booster, very easy HD. However, it needs attendance because you have to do in - class assessments with your teammates for about 8 weeks. But there were really fun activities in class.

Easy to do well, first 20% assignment ask many questions and seek help because it is so harshly marked, do not be discouraged I got a pass (50-60%) on this assignment and pulled a 74/73 on this unit (Distinction). Just do your tutorial work properly and ask questions for the assignments and you are all good.

easy HD unit. Although I didn't like the content very much nor the assessments. the unit itself is quite easy and you can get a good mark without watching all lecturers. but you need to talk in tutorials as it is being assessed. you also need to write a 20% and 40% essay which are very heavily loaded to your final scores. the first 20% essay is marked very harsh but the second one is more lenient. overall boring but easy marks

Pretty boring. Exam was taken away, which completely destroyed any motivation to properly study.
Anonymous, Semester 1, 2019
Waste of time unit that over complicates management. Lectures are useless and give you nothing but more questions to contemplate over. No textbook and poor lecture slides make revision extremely difficult. Assessment tasks are somewhat pointless and don't consolidate the knowledge taught. Feels like more of a subject on research than management

Easy HD unit but a complete waste of time and beyond boring. The exam format is much worse compared to previous years; it used to be open book and short answer, now closed book and two essays. I hardly learnt a single thing in this unit. The content is practically common sense with an excessive amount of theory.

At times interesting, I really liked the lecturer (although lots of people didn't). Though we spent waaaay too much time on scientific management!
Anonymous, Semester 1, 2018
A very dry subject that involves putting labels on concepts that should be common sense. A lot of memorizing is required for the exam. However, logic isn't required for the exam.
Anonymous, Semester 2, 2017
Fairly mediocre unit. Turn up to lectures as there is a lot of content being covered in lectures. Quite a lot of organisational examples to remember. Tutorials are interesting and worth attending. The assessments were quite a pain, don't leave writing annotated bibs and essays to the last minute! Revise thoroughly over all concepts for the exam, as you need to delve into everything you have learnt plus additional reading material for the exam! Pay attention to detail, and you should be set for this unit!

This unit is bad, it finds a way to make simple concepts complex by inundating you with jargon and by making you remember numerous pointless theories. The assessments (annotated bibliography/essay/reflection) are vague and confusing. The exam is no longer open book and requires real examples as well as relying heavily on "optional" readings.
