Requires a lot of time and dedication to really understand the case studies. I think they marked way too harshly on participation and I would never receive 100% and always dedicated so much time and effort to being involved in discussions over zoom. I found it really unfair. Assignments are ok if you take notes during tutorials

The unit structure is horrible, there are no clear instructions on the assessments or what is expected of you, you're asked to do homework every week that may or may not be related to your assessment, and you get no feedback on how to do the homework properly. You get one-two weeks to do two assessments that make up for 60% of your total mark and the instructions aren't given to you till the last minute. Although it is a fairly easy unit, it is horribly structured and it seems like the material covered during the lectures are basic first-year knowledge. It seems like the UC only chose its seminar associates because they are from the same country, and the associates are hard to understand due to their thick accent. Haven't learnt anything all semester.

Quite a enjoyable unit, Make sure to do the weekly case studies as they make up most of the internal marks, the final trade show is also a really enjoyable experience! Not a difficult unit

The case studies are long and worth 75% all up so don't do them last minute. Pay particular attention to the last 10-20 minutes of the lecture when Scott summarises as this will help your post work.
