I found this subject extremely interesting and intriguing. I found that it was not merely grammar and vocabulary based, rather the subject touched on the cultural attributes of French studies. Studying the German Occupation of France was very interesting and eye-opening especially when conducting interviews with French natives as part of our major assessment. I found the lecturer and tutor, Raphael Trantoul, extremely helpful, well organised and very enthusiastic. I would highly recommend this subject to anyone wanting to further their French education, especially for third year students and post year 12 students.
