Infuriating that this is a core for non finance/IT/math type majors, subject has a very high fail rate and the lecturers are quite ruthless with assignment marking. The textbook has recently also switched to an e-book however since the exam is open book they suggest to simply "print it out". If you are not a fan of excel or maths and can find a way to not undertake this subject, I strongly urge you to!

Loved it. Very maths heavy and can be difficult because of this. I found this unit very well supported by the staff - seemed as though someone was always around to.

Not a fan of maths, never have been. Very difficult subject to grasp. Textbook made more sense than lectures.

Really interesting unit, great lecturers and support seminars. However, not a subject for someone without reasonable math skills!

Awesome, well run, old lectures but new contents added as well. Teachers worked really hard and were always available.
