Nice introductory subject to adulthood. Content poorly address. Weekly quizzes had a lot of stats from US. Not much Australian data. Should improve on that. The research (assignment) was very interesting. You will learn to do qualitative research, which takes a lot of time. Plus no exam.

I didn't find this subject to be hugely engaging. The main positive I gained from this subject was a different perspective on ageing, and an insight into qualitative research (the assignment is qualitative). However, I think it could be improved by delivering the content in a more engaging way. Not having an exam was a plus.

HPS302 is a great subject! The overall research assignment (although hard at times) was really interesting and engaging. It sort of lets you fly solo and investigate certain questions that you had about life in general, or the life of someone you know. I sort of wish they had an exam for this subject just so that we would have been pushed towards doing the readings properly, because there was some really stuff in there. Overall great subject, highly recommended (especially if you are interested in development).
