You will learn about accounting standards and how to apply them. Don't be scared by the wordy accounting standards. The application is much more simple. Examples help a lot. The course is not hard at all.

I quite enjoyed this unit. The tutor, Yong, is great at his job. He walks around the room checking everyone's work and explains easily if something is wrong. Journal entries and calculations are what I study accounting for so this unit was brilliant. Make sure to do your quizzes, readings and tutorial work each work and you should have no issues with the unit.

The unit is good however you need to work at a very fast pace to keep up, this can be challenging when you have other units that are time-consuming.
