The SOWISO quizz is super difficult to use. I usually get the correct answer but cannot get the input right. Sometimes you just type a symbol that is unable to clear and you have to start again. And if you have got wrong once, you are unlucky because you have to repeat to get the correct asnwer, and then repeat again to make your score 100! Although questions are all great, the system makes it time-consuming not to help students but to waster their time. This sem we are gonna have online exam and fear of typing equations manually instead of multiple choice, and maybe facing same problem again

This unit was amazing. The lecturer (Miccal Matthews) was hilarious and that really helped me pay attention in class. The assessments were all fairly straightforward if all the provided questions from worksheets and past assessments were done.

Probably one of the best units I've ever had. The lecturer (David Walker) is amazing and very responsible. A Very well-structured and organized unit. Good support when you need it. Practicals were absolutely enjoyable.

This unit was an absolute vibe! The SOWISO assignments were really fun to do! The lecturer, David Walker, was absolutely amazing and his lectures are so well conducted. Halfway through the semester, we switched to older lectures recorded by a previous lecturer Miccal, who was equally amazing and hilarious. If you enjoy calculus, this unit is a definite must. I'm a biology student and I found this really easy and fun to do. If you work on the weekly problems, you're all set for the unit (dw if you struggle with the conceptual understanding section, that shit hard no cap). 10/10 broadening unit.

I really enjoyed this unit, all of the content is very digestible especially if you did spec in high school. The SOWISO assignments were very easy; there were 9 and only your best 5 were counted. The in-semester test and final exam were a breeze if you did the practice papers on LMS. Overall, can't fault this unit, and I felt the transition of this unit online during COVID had minimal effects on your studies. Very easy to get an HD in!

A really easy HD if you study the content well. Thoroughly enjoyed it.

I loved this unit, and the lecturer is amazing. Keeping up with the lectures and attending the practical classes is a huge help to yourself. Occasionally I found the practical classes tough because it was hard for me to try and concentrate constantly for an hour and a half. Getting 100% in at least 5 of the SOWISO quizzes and attending 10/11 of the practical classes gets you an easy 15% for your overall mark so don't slack off and this unit will be an easy HD.

Its an interesting and great unit. As long as you keep up with the lectures and put in the work you will be fine!

I'm not one of the best students out there, so I felt like I was consistently behind. But I think if you put in the effort (like with any subject I guess), this will be pretty okay for you.

Well taught and interesting unit that never felt pointless or boring.
