lecturer cannot teach for shit

Anonymous, Semester 2, 2023

Some content was taught without any additional explanation. And she told you the quiz only included the content in the lecture and tutorial, then examined some additional concepts and formulas. I was just confused as to why she didn't clarify clearly. Interesting.

Very useful subject for economics in micro field. Easy if you have a strong math background. Otherwises you need a bit of preparation and practice.

Anonymous, Semester 2, 2017

An easy course if you have a solid math background. The contents are useful for future economics courses especially ECOS2001.

Great lecturer (Suraj Prasad), always happy to answer students' questions on the content. He even left out the matrices section of one mid-term because we needed time to 'digest' it and understand the processes, logic and methods behind it. The maths used is very useful in economics, you get introduced to a range of concepts (even beyond first year, such as consumer theory) and overall it's a nice intro to ECOS2903. I love maths, and I would definitely recommend this subject.
