I have done some programming in other languages so this subject was a breeze, but good revision of important programming theory. You don't have to produce a lot, but the theory would be pretty intense for a first timer. They have LeetCode style problems for a few easy marks, and you should have everything you need for assignments in the tutorials. Don't let it get away from you, there's not a lot of work but there's a lot to understand. If you don't keep up, you won't even know how to read the examples, let alone write your own code.

Significant gaps in teaching material, on campus students could likely bridge this with face to face tutorials and close proximity of peers, online students are left to themselves with no online tutorial, very time consuming, very high drop out rate.

Quite a challenge as I hadn't done any computer programming before but with the help from a great lecturer I made it through the other side. :)
