UNSW Science Tutor William
Hi there! I’m a Master’s graduate in Pure Mathematics (with 90+ on my dissertation) and a current PhD candidate in Pure Mathematics at UNSW.
I have over 2 years of experience tutoring mathematics, from Year 7 to third-year university level, both online and in person.
My Approach:
I believe the best way to teach mathematics is through key examples that build a foundation for understanding abstract concepts. I also focus on developing problem-solving strategies that can be applied to other situations.
Having personally struggled with maths in school before succeeding at university level, I know that anyone can excel in the subject, regardless of their background.
Availability:
I’m available most evenings and some afternoons.
How I Tutor:
I can tutor online using platforms like Zoom or Google Meet, but I’m flexible if you prefer something else! I’m also available for face-to-face tutoring at UNSW central library or libraries in Randwick and Waterloo.
I am also open to tutoring mathematical subjects that aren't listed here. Additionally, I’m happy to review assignments or provide written solutions to problems. I also offer group sessions at $30 per person.
Feel free to reach out if you have any questions!
