Reviews
A charming unit. A lot of group work and concentrated math solving.
Anonymous, Semester 2, 2018
This unit provides a great introduction to civil, mechanical and materials engineering, however at a relentless pace. Teamwork is essential and time spent outside of class to consolidate what has been said in the pracs and lectures is recommended. Overall, it was enjoyable because the lecturers were easy-going and motivated. Moreover, the assignments and projects were relevant and fun (such as building a spaghetti truss bridge and a trebuchet)

It's one of the best units in first year. It's quite fun and easy to get HD. The projects are the best part of the unit.
