I am currently also enrolled and studying for my Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering at RMIT.

I have previously given private tutoring lessons to 1st year, 2nd year, 3rd year and 4th year university students.
I have given tutoring lessons for number of university students.

With COVID-19 pandemic I am open for students to do tutoring sessions through Zoom sessions as well.

I have achieved 91 marks for Advanced Engineering Mathematics at the university and averaged above 80 for all the mathematics subjects I have taken.
I am a prize winner of Mathematical Olympiad in 2006.

I am quite competent in Engineering Mathematics, CAD software(Solidworks and AutoCAD) Physics, MATLAB, programing(C, Verilog), Electronics(both analog and digital), Dynamics, Robotics, Micro controller programming, FPGA chip programming, Fluid Dynamics etc.

Kalhara is a great tutor!! He was able to help me out a lot with all the questions I had and did not just help me to reach the solution but also made sure I could solve similar problems myself. I started off struggling with a lot of the engineering math concepts but thanks to Kalhara, I was eventually able to utilise them well. Aside from the academic aspect, he had a very encouraging attitude and is very enthusiastic to help.

Overall, he was very helpful and better than a lot of other tutors I've had so far, definitely would recommend him to other students like me who struggled with engineering at first. You will definitely be guarantee great results :))

Kalhara was an excellent tutor for ENG1005, despite the drawbacks of COVID-19, the online zoom sessions were extremely helpful. He was very knowledgeable and was able to explain concepts in a way which I could understand. He was very patient and made sure that I left the session with all my questions answered. I highly recommend him as a tutor.

Kalhara was an excellent tutor who uses a teaching method that suits you to get the best results possible. I did not understand most of the material in ENG2005 and would have failed the final exam if not for his help. He showed me tips and tricks that were very helpful for understanding the material and the final exam. I would highly recommend him as a tutor.

I have known Kalhara for several years through our engineering degrees at Monash. I saw Kalhara's knowledge and prowess in mathematics from the start and it's an area which he is passionate about. He was also enthusiastic and competent in all engineering subjects he chose especially those relying on complex math concepts and programming at their core which is commonplace in engineering. I found his final year project, a complex physics simulation that he wrote from scratch, to be quite impressive. During our degrees I too was fortunate to learn some useful math concepts and tricks from him and he also helped clear some difficult engineering concepts.

When it comes to sharing his knowledge with others, Kalhara is always equally enthusiastic, patient, and excellent at it - and this I believe would make him an excellent tutor.

I have known Kalhara for several years and know him to be an intellectually capable and extremely passionate engineer. His degree in Mechatronics Engineering from Monash University is complemented well by the vast hands-on knowledge he has gained through his own efforts. He is also remarkably quick at connecting and establishing a good relationship with people, and is a very pleasant person to work with.

I believe his outgoing personality and solid grasp of the fundamentals of engineering will make Kalhara an excellent tutor.
