An atrociously difficult subject. You will need to study very hard to get a distinction. If you enjoy law subjects then this will be for you, if not good luck....

Good subject that can help you in real life, but really confusing at times, which is probably where this unit gets its bad reputation from. Certainly a difficult unit if you don't have the prescribed textbook where all the material is based upon and do the required reading. Is an open book exam so understanding basic concepts and knowing where relevant cases are in the book are very important.

Interesting subject but definitely one that requires work and attendance to all lectures/tutorials/seminars. If you do keep up your attendance and keep up to date with questions and work there is no reason you shouldn't do well. It seems common amongst those I have spoken to that the mid-semester test is more difficult than the exam (likely used to scare people into studying more). I recommend keeping a book separate from your tutorial questions to keep compiled notes on cases/acts that you will be able to take into the final exam with you. Make notes throughout the semester as opposed to the last minute.

Interesting subject, but you're basically on your own as the lecturer is not very helpful. Always leaves early and doesn't really break things down, students seem too intimidated to ask questions. This is at Fed Uni in Churchill

Interesting content but a lot of reading. Tutorials also tend to be rather intimidating and not very helpful.
