Pay really close attention to the tutorial on the essay and critical analysis - it will help you a lot for the assignment Tutorials were quite important for the exam in this unit, and for perception too

Personality psych was very engaging. The content-load was alright, but sometimes hard to keep up with because it was presented in an almost conversational way, making it a little harder to revise. However, it is really interesting and will make you reconsider what you know about nature vs nurture, trait theory and etc. Make sure you get on top of that essay, or at least start drafting ideas for it early, because it requires a lot of critical thinking.

This subject was both very interesting in terms of content, and very well organised.

This was a really good subject. Lots of content, but the content in and of itself is not difficult. Worth spending some time to get your head around it. Keep weekly notes, and ensure you leave a lot of time to prep for the essay. The final exam is pretty reasonable too.

I loved this subject - it was so interesting! the personality part was a lot to take in but overall it was enjoyable. Easy class to get decent marks in! The essay was marked harshly i think - a lot of the comments were just copied and pasted. I really enjoyed the class though

I loved the content! Social psych was interesting and easy, although the essay requires quite a bit of research. I love personality, but it's very focused on just learning the different models, which is a lot of work at times. Final exam was pretty simple if you kept up with the content.

Really enjoyed this unit. The essay was marked pretty fairly and the content was quite interesting. The final exam was not as hard as expected.

Interesting unit - particularly the social psych part. Good lecturer/tutors

You must be joking right??? Although the lecturers seemingly very nice... Some of the MCQ in the final exam were poorly written... Essay asks student to critically evaluate, yet students never actually got taught nor given adequate guidance as to how to ask the smart questions (how to be critical)... Another unit @mq that involves a lot of selecting and assessing/testing, but not enough teaching, not enough quality guidance. Get taught more on research designs (past first year Micky Mouse level), only after essay due date... Seem ridiculous not to tutor students on research designs until the last tutorial.

Never did so poorly on an essay. -really demotivating!!!!.. It would not have mattered what I had written - too short a word count for the depth of critical analysis required .The topics were interesting, but teaching quality was mediocre.
