If you did General Maths in high school, this subject is literally going to be the death of you. If you're looking for an easy pass, you won't find it here.

one of the easiest units...just practise what's taught in lectures

Good general overview of maths from 8-12 (2/3 unit content). SO if you did a bit of maths in school this subject would be great as a refresher. There is a bit of content and the lectures move from topic to topic pretty quickly.

This subject is tough for people who have not studied 2 unit math in high school. If you don't get onto the content early you will struggle to get a good mark, you can not cram for this course. If you work consistently throughout semester there's no reason you can get a very good mark. The lectures weren't always that useful, I learnt most from the tutorials and videos on youtube. The kinds of questions in the tuts are what will be in the exam so study them.

Scored 96%. Practice and secure a good grade easily.

I agree with the other reviewer who says it's better to have one lecturer than two. The content becomes a bit harder to understand with two different teaching approaches. Overall, it's a pretty challenging subject for someone who didn't do HSC 2 unit mathematics, so give it your all!

This unit is similar to 2 unit mathematics (HSC) but there's definitely extended material you'll learn. It goes more in depth than HSC mathematics trying to understand the concepts. Grind heaps of questions, take advantage of numeracy centre and get a studdy buddy because it is handy!

This subject will really prepare you for MATH135 and the maths subjects to follow. When I did this subject they had two lecturers, I personally prefer having one lecturer for maths so it was a bit tricky with organisation and understanding one of their thick accents. However, overall good subject.
